Purpose
One of the biggest retailers in the country, Target Corporation, has established a solid reputation for offering premium goods at reasonable costs via its extensive network of more than 1,900 locations and its quickly expanding e-commerce platform (About Target). Target, which is renowned for its customer-focused philosophy, has improved the in-store and online shopping experience by utilizing technology advancements. Two of Target's management information systems will be examined in this research by gaining an understanding of the steps Target took to deploy its information systems through its mobile apps and other technological applications. To understand how Target's information system functions when it makes product offers, distributes goods across the supply chain, and offers a range of customer services, as well as areas where their information system management may be strengthened. In this project, the target shop will be used as a case study to use the qualitative research approach. Because of its competitive advantage which includes a well-developed supply chain, client preferences, and a low-price strategy this international retail corporation based in the United States is profitable and successful.

Thesis
This study looks at the management information systems that Target Corporation uses. This research will examine how Target's information systems support its competitive advantage, which includes its well-developed supply chain, customer-focused emphasis, and low-price tactics, using a qualitative case study method. Moreover, it will pinpoint possible avenues for enhancement to guarantee continued success in the swiftly changing retail domain.
